No More Political Disaster
There is an apparent move in south Korea to set up a UN "office on human rights issue of north" allegedly to supervise and record how the human rights are practiced here. The south Korean authorities declared the readiness to examine the UN request any time the need arises.
The "human rights issue in the DPRK" is the focal point whenever the south Korean ruling quarters come to take issue with us. It is an issue they would bring up to fan up hostility against the fellow countrymen and go further in their collaboration with outside forces.
This row about "human rights issue in north" aimed to mar the dignified image of our Republic is a sinister campaign to achieve "unification under liberal democracy." It is a foul scheme to sow seeds of discord and sharpen confrontations between the two parts of Korea, thus leading to a war at last.
Now the inter-Korean relations are in a serious stage. As already reported, due to the incessant joint military drills of south Korea and the U.S. such as Foal Eagle and Max Thunder against the DPRK, a very tense situation has been created on the Korean Peninsula. Moreover, the inter-Korean agreement on not slandering each other is nullified by the south Korean authorities.
In this situation the attempt to set up the UN office in south Korea is but a reckless move to worsen inter-Korean relations and bring war holocaust to the nation.
We will show no mercy on those who dare to damage our dignity and system even a little.
